Heavy Rainfall at Dewathang, Samdrup Jongkhar

With all the farmers welcoming the monsoon season, i too along with the farmers of Bhutan, welcome the monsoon season for the year 2012. This monsoon season remains me that it is the time for the farmers to start the cultivation of the rice. This monsoon also recalls my past memory where i had worked in paddy field helping my parents to plant rice in weekend.

The monsoon season at Dewathang, Smadrup Jongkhar was started from almost one month back but it was not as much heavy as that of yesterday (i.e., 12th June ) and today ( i.e., 13th June). The rain is so heavy that is very dificult to get to the office and back to the home. This was the first ever heavy monsoon i have observed since i join Jigme Namgyel polytechnic (JNP) from January 2011. This monsoon also recall that it is the time for the students to appear exam and close the summer semester, where we can go for vacation to meet our beloved parents.

Thanks to the GOD, thought it is little be late compared to previous year, for providing rain which immensely help the farmers of Bhutan and particularly to the farmers at Dewathang area. Once again thanks to GOD and Local deities and i will pray for their helps to our beloved farmers of Bhutan and ultimately to people like us who depend fully on farmers for foods and other necessary items.

Remembering Last College Picnic

With my final year friends (i.e., 2006 batch), i enjoyed my last college picnic which was hoisted by our juniors first year, second year and third year friends of College of Science and Technology (CST). This is the farewell picnic to the final year students given by the juniors. It is the custom of CSTian to give farewell picnic to the out going final year students by the juniors which was instituted by our Seniors. I really enjoyed the gesture and presentation shown by our juniors to we, final years. I would like to say "Thank you" to my juniors and i would like to request my juniors, please follow the same culture and tradition during your stay at CST so that the students who are junior to you all will also follow the same. I will remember this picnic throughout my life as the gift given by my juniors. I am rejoicing the moment i had during this last college picnic known as "FAREWELL PICNIC" even now. Once again i would like to thank my juniors for hoisting  such a great picnic and it will be remaining throughout my life. Thank you , Thank you, ..........to my junior friends.....

"Remembering Last College Day"

With nostalgia, i am remembering the last day of my college life (i.e., 30th June 2010) where everybody including the staffs and final year students, both Electrical and Civil Engineering students gather at MP hall to celebrate and recognize the hard work done by both the staffs and students. With immense pressure and happiness, i also gather along with my fellow mates and received the certificate which recognize my hard work for four years. With this, last day at college came to an end but i was bit unhappy..., unhappy.....because all my beloved and loving friends which we stayed together for four years is going to be disappear. But this is happen within an hours, as after lunch some of our friends attended campus interview and some are left to Phuentsholing town to get bus ticket for moving them to their own destination. Similarly i also followed the same and headed towards Thimphu to look for Job. That is the end of the college day ..............
